Albert van Wyk has been appointed Vice President Contrinex Global Sales with effect from 1st August 2018. Based at the Group’s Swiss headquarters, he now leads the worldwide Contrinex sales channel with overall responsibility for Contrinex labelled distributors and the direct sales force. The Directors of Sales and Key Account Management and the Head of Digital Business Development report to him.
Albert van Wyk joined Contrinex 8 years ago as Product Manager and developed a sales-oriented career path. He set up Key Account Management and launched the Group’s global Customer Relationship Management system. More recently, he established Contrinex’s new sales subsidiary and production site in China and became the first Country Manager. Three years on, he has delivered a thriving subsidiary with motivated staff and strong revenues. His systematic market approach and focus on OEM opportunities showed fast results, and this recipe will now be applied to the global sales channel.
