Visitors to our stand at this year’s SPS IPC Drives in Nuremberg help Contrinex raise EUR 10,247 for charity
The charity SOS Children’s Villages is the world’s largest non-governmental organization focussed on supporting children without parental care and families at risk. Since Contrinex places a particular emphasis on corporate social responsibility, it was decided to support this charity. To help generate a donation, the sensor manufacturer challenged visitors to its stand at this year’s SPS IPC Drives in Nuremberg to play a game of air hockey.
Some of the world’s toughest automation professionals pitted their skills against representatives of Contrinex in no fewer than 509 tense air-hockey matches. By close of play on Thursday, there was a clear winner: the children of SOS Children’s Villages, who walked away with the sum of EUR 10,2472.
Contrinex would like to thank all those who played. We hope you enjoyed your game as much as we did! We would also like to pass on the thanks of SOS Children’s Villages International for the financial support provided to their programs.
