To strengthen our Product Management department at our Headquarters, we seek to hire a
Director, Product Management & Business Development (w/m)
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSABILITIES
- Lead the international product management team and drive the team in accordance with the sales strategy and product roadmap
- Manage the product portfolio and recommend new product ideas and concepts including pricing, sales and commercial strategies
- Responsible for on-time new product launches and achievement of sales targets for the initial 24 months across sales channels
- Identify and develop new sales channels and business opportunities for specific product ranges
- Manage customer specific projects process and liaise with sales, R&D and supply chain teams to ensure on-time customer deliverables
- Manage and develop technical product information, briefings, online technical training and other relevant technical material for continuous training of our sales team and customers
- In charge of technical product exhibits and demo boards for trade fairs, participate in trade fairs
- Formalize project proposals for new products and liaise with the R&D team for the timely and cost-effective development of projects
- Adopt a deep understanding of the global- and regional market dynamics, competitive analysis and customer requirements
- Regular travel to customers, sales meetings and exhibitions in all industrial markets
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years’ experience as Product Manager or Business Development Manager
- 2+ years of team management experience
- Experience in industrial automation
- Technical engineering degree or equivalent education
- Experience in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and follow-up skills
- Pro-active personality, enjoys taking initiative and interacting with stakeholders
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills in English, in addition to French and/or German
